Your Role

As a manager within Special Mission and Regional Aircraft (SMRA), your primary challenge will be to continue developing and expanding the section together with your team - both in terms of operations, skills development, and sustainability for the future. Most of the work here is project-based, in close collaboration with other units within Saab. As a manager, it is therefore important that you build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders. SMRA is in an expansion phase, where you will actively contribute to the continued growth of the business. In the leadership team you will be part of, there are currently three experienced managers and a program leader to work with.

You will lead a growing team consisting of senior project managers, project planners, and risk managers who drive our platform projects, primarily for the GlobalEye product, within SMRA.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Personnel responsibility for the team, including coaching, feedback, goal setting, and individual and collective development
• Development and improvement of processes, methods, and tools within project and contract management, planning, as well as risk and opportunity analysis
• Recruitment, communication, and information sharing
• Budget and financial responsibility for the cost center
• Active and engaged member of the Platform Business Management team

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Experience in project management
• A degree in engineering or equivalent work experience, preferably in a technical field
• Leadership experience, preferably with experience in leading other leaders
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is also an advantage if you have documented experience in personnel responsibility.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
